BMW i3 EV
I can’t believe that as of 2022 the BMW i3 is 9 years old, it was first released in 2013. It still comes with an 8 year battery warranty so those early cars are now driving around with no battery warranty.
The BMW i3 still looks as fresh today as it did back then, hard to believe that the engineers and designers started that design over 10 years ago.
I have owned a 2014 60ah REX i3 and I purchased it when it was 7 years old and the battery life is still very good and in the Summer it can still do around 75 miles on a full charge.
Yes, the i3 is not for everybody, but as a town/city car it is perfect. Yes, the ride can be hard (especially on the 20″ wheels) and it can sometimes feel not quite as well built as a lot of other BMW cars but there is still something about it that I love. It could be the open cabin feel, its instant speed, its look, who knows.
